workshop3 Jayne’s studio is in the lovely village of Dumbleton, Gloucestershire. It is full of vintage textiles, sewing machines, books, buttons, beads and trims. She loves to introduce her students to new skills and techniques whilst nurturing their individual styles. Her workshops encourage experimentation, mess making and happy accidents – nothing is ever precise and rarely is a way of working considered wrong. The only rules at her workshops are that everyone has a brilliant time and gets to leave with at least one finished item! If you have a group of 4-8 people and would like to book a workshop a date can be arranged to suit. These workshops are perfect for celebrations, family gatherings or getting a group of friends together to catch up and learn a new skill. You can choose from needle felting, machine embroidery, patchwork or even basic sewing for complete beginners (some ideas follow below). Workshops can be tailored to your needs and all materials and sewing machines will be provided (unless of course you would like to bring your own). If you need overnight accommodation please do get in touch for recommended places to stay. Saturday workshop costs are £30 per person for a 3hr workshop (morning or afternoon) and £55 pp for a full day including an organic lunch (11am -4pm). Workshops can also be arranged during the week between the hours of 10am and 2pm. Please contact me or use the contact form for further details. Some ideas for workshops are…..
